Ain't No Grave Can Hold My Body Down - A

Ain't no grave
Can hold my body down
There ain't no grave Can keep a sister underground
When I hear that trumpet sound

Ain't no grave can hold my bo-dy down.
They rolled a stone on Je-sus.
And then they tried to bu-ry me.
But then the Ho-ly Ghost it  freed us.
So we could live e-ter-nal-ly.
Sis-tuh you bet-ter get cho tick-et if you wan-na ride.
In the morn-in' when Je-sus call my num-buh,
I'll be on the oth-er side.
Ain't no grave can hold my bo-dy down.
Ain't no grave is gon-na hold me.
bury me, trick me.
Ain't no grave can hold my bo-dy down.
I will fly to Jesus in the morn-in' when I die.
I know he will take me home to live with
him on high. I will fly with Je-sus in the morn-in'.

They ain't no grave can keep a sis-tuh un-der ground.
I will lis-ten for the trum-pet sound.
Ain't no grave can hold my bo-dy down.
Ain't no grave can hold my bo-dy down.
They aint't no grave can keep a sis-tuh un-der ground.
I will lis-ten for the trum-pet sound.
Ain't no grave can hold my bo-dy down.
I say no, no, no, no, no, no,
Ain't no grave,
Ain't no grave,
Ain't no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
grave can hold me.
Ain't no grave,

Poetry by Eliza Gylikson

Mother Mary, full of grace, awaken.
All our homes are gone, our loved ones taken,
Taken by the sea.
Mother Mary, calm our fears, have mercy,
Drowning in a sea of tears, have mercy,
Hear our mournful plea.
Our world has been shaken,
We wander our homelands forsaken.
In the dark night of the soul
Bring some comfort to us all,
Oh Mother Mary, come and carry, us in your embrace
That our sorrows may be faced.
Mary, fill the glass to overflowing,
Illuminate the path where we are going,
Have mercy on us all.
In funeral fires burning
Each flame to your mystery, returning.
In the dark night of the soul
Your shattered dreamers, make them whole,
Oh Mother Mary, find us where we've fallen out of grace,
Lead us to a higher place.
In the dark night of the soul
Our broken hearts you can make whole,
Oh Mother Mary, come and carry us in your embrace,
Let us see your gentle face, Mary.

The Pasture-Stroope 2014-Yak

Poem by Robert Frost

I'm going out to clean the pasture spring;
I'll only stop to rake the leaves away
(And wait to watch the water clear, I may):
I sha'n't be gone long
You come too

I'm going out to fetch the little calf
That's standing by the mother
It's so young
It totters when she licks it with her tongue
I sha'n't be gone long
You come too

Banks of Doon-Donna Gartman Schultz-2014

Ye flowery banks o'bonie Doon,
How can ye blume sae fair;
How can ye chant, ye little birds,
And I sae fu'o'care!

Thou'll break my heart, thou bonie bird
That sings upon the bough;
Thou minds me o'the happy days
When my fause luve was true.

Thou'll break my heart, thou bonie bird
That sings beside thy mate;
For sae I sat, and sae I sang,
And wist na o'my fate.

Aft hae I rov'd by bonie Doon,
To see the wood-bine twine,
And ilka bird sang o'its love,
And sae did I o'mine.

Wi'lightsome heart I pu'd a rose
Frae aff its thorny tree,
And my fause luver stole the rose,
But left the thorn wi'me.

Come Dwell in Solomon's Walls-Stroope-20
Saints Bound for Heaven - Arr-Wilberg-20

 When the final timber lay 'gainst the measured stones,

with the doorposts in their place, overlaid with gold.

The Lord appeared to Solomon, blessings all the house.

The temple of the ark of God, pure and whole.

Come dwell in Solomon's walls,

Come dwell in the house of the Lord.

Where the humble bow down, seeking wisdom and strength,

For the Lord dwells within and heals their land.

Come dwell in Solomon’s walls,

come dwell in the house of the Lord;

where wisdom and righteous, justice and holiness, join at the feet of God.

When the people of this house, kneel and humbly pray,

When they turn from dark to light and your will obey,

O Lord of heaven and Lord of earth,

Show favor on this house,
And heal, restore, forgive and bless, Lord we pray.

Come dwell in Solomon's walls,

Come and dwell in the house of the Lord,
where wisdom and righteousness, justice and holiness

Join at the feet of God.
(Repeated)

Our bondage it shall end by and by, by and by.
Our bondage it shall end by and by.

From Egypt's yoke set free,

Hail the glorious jubilee,

And to Canaan we'll return by and by, by and by.

And to Canaan we'll return by and by.

Our deliverer he shall come, by and by, by and by,
Our deliverer he shall come, by and by;
And our sorrows have an end,
With our threescore years and ten,
And vast glory crown the day, by and by, by and by,
And vast glory crown the day, by and by.

And when to Jordan's floods, we are come, we are come,
And when to Jordan's floods, we are come;
Jehovah rules the tide,
And the waters he'll divide,
And the ransomed host shall shout, we are come, we are come,
And the ransomed host shall shout, we are come.

Then with all the happy throng, we'll rejoice, we'll rejoice,
Then with all the happy throng, we'll rejoice;
Shouting glory to our King,
Till the vaults of heaven ring,
And through all eternity we'll rejoice, we'll rejoice,
And through all eternity we'll rejoice.
